My dog usually fights anything going around her neck but she doesn't seem to notice this one at all, probably because it's so light. The metal buckle feels solid and clicks shut without any rattling when she shakes. It's held up fine through muddy walks and a few rainstorms.
The denim is surprisingly soft, no stiffness at all, and my dog stopped scratching at his neck on walks. The metal buckle feels solid without being heavy, which is exactly what I wanted for everyday wear.
