The teddy material is so plush that my pup actually fell asleep wearing it on the couch, which never happens with her old collar. The polished buckle feels sturdy and clicks shut without any fuss.
My dog usually scratches at her neck after walks but she hasn't touched this one once. The teddy fabric is genuinely soft and the metal buckle feels sturdy without being heavy. Adjustable fit was easy to dial in for her narrow neck.
