Took this on a weekend hike and my frenchie napped on it the whole break. It rolls up small enough to tuck in my backpack, and the plaid fabric has just enough padding that he doesn't fuss.

The fabric ties are a small detail but I use them every single time — it rolls up tight and hangs off my backpack strap on hikes. My Frenchie sprawls out on it for hours in the park and the light padding seems to keep him comfy on hard ground.
