The hammock setup kept my muddy golden retriever from sliding into the footwell, and the zippered sides made it easy to fold one down when my kid rode along. Water-resistant really held up after a rainy hike, no soaking through to the seats.
Took my lab to the lake and the back seat stayed completely dry thanks to the water-resistant material. The zippered sides are a nice touch too since they let me switch it from hammock mode to a flat liner when my kid rides along.
