The bolsters give my dog something to rest her chin on, and she's been sleeping in this thing all afternoon instead of the couch. I've already washed the cover once after a muddy walk and it came out looking brand new.
My senior dog used to struggle getting up from flat beds, but the raised bolsters give him something to lean on and he settles in way faster now. The teddy fabric is genuinely plush, not that slick fake stuff, and the cover unzips easily for washing after muddy days.
