The 4.9-foot length is perfect for my lab mix—long enough for sniffing but not so long it tangles around my legs. The plaid pattern is sharper in person and the hardware feels sturdy without being heavy.
The polished clips snap on without that annoying fumbling I always had with my old leash, and the 4.9 feet gives my beagle just enough room to sniff without tangling around my legs. The plaid is soft in hand too, no stiff edges digging in on longer walks.
